Muscat: The National Business Centre (NBC) signed recently an incubation agreement with Dakkah Engineering Services – a company specialised in providing architectural design and development and training services. Dakkah Engineering Services will benefit from the services offered at Riyada incubator, which is managed by NBC. Established in 2018 to create an inspiring space for engineering architects, Dakkah aims to merge all related services under one platform and meet the needs of the local community concerned in this field.
According to the agreement, Dakkah will receive support from NBC through its various services and incentives, which comprise counseling and guiding services, intensive training, and coaching and mentoring. These services aim at building entrepreneurial skills of the incubated companies and thus contribute to their development through enhancing business networking, forming partnerships, and getting access to business mentors.
NBC is an initiative launched by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures. The centre offers a premier platform for Omani entrepreneurs by providing business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
