Muscat: Passengers who are not willing to travel to coronavirus-hit countries will get a full-refund of their ticket fees from airlines operating in Oman, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
In a statement issued on Monday, PACA also said if the ticket fee is non-refundable, then the airline must provide passengers an alternative option to change the ticket dates as per their convince.
“The airline must return the value of tickets to passengers without deducting any fees announced in the conditions of the ticket.”

“As for non-refundable tickets, they should be given the choice of issuing a new ticket with date of the passengers choice with a validity to travel within a year without any deduction of any fees declared in the conditions of the ticket,” PACA added.
The global death toll of coronavirus stands at 2,600.
