MUSCAT: Oman has immediately suspended all flight operations to and from Iran following coronavirus outbreak.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health confirmed two cases of coronavirus cases reported in the country after two Omani women who arrived from Iran were infected with COVID-19. This is the first cases of coronavirus recorded in the Sultanate.
“We are suspending all civil aviation flights between the Sultanate and the Islamic Republic of Iran, from today February 24, 2020 until further notice.” PACA said in a statement.
