MUSCAT — Oman’s Ministry of Labour has firmly denied the rumours circulating on social media claiming that government employees who have completed 30 years of service will be referred for compulsory retirement.
In a statement issued on its official account on X, the Ministry clarified that the information being shared — including forwarded WhatsApp messages — is false and misleading.
“The Ministry of Labour confirms that there is no truth to what is being circulated regarding the referral of employees who have completed 30 years of service for compulsory retirement,” the statement said.
