Muscat: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai arrived in Oman to offer condolences on the passing of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq received him at Al Alam Palace on Monday.
Earlier on Saturday, Sheikh Mohammed took to twitter to express his condolences: “The Sultan of loyalty, love, and wisdom is gone. May his soul rest in peace. Our condolences to our brothers in Oman and to all people connected with Oman’s culture and history, the resting place of the leader of the Omani Renaissance”, Sheikh Mohammed said.
