Muscat: In what could be a huge relief for Indian expatriates from South Indian state of Kerala living in Oman, budget carrier IndiGo will resume operations from Muscat to Kochi starting from February 16, 2020.
Speaking to The Arabian Stories on Tuesday, highly placed sources at IndiGo has confirmed that the airline will fly daily flights from Muscat-Kochi.
As per the information, the winter schedule will continue till March 28, 2020. Kochi to Muscat flight will depart at 11pm daily while Muscat to Kochi flight will leave at 2:25am.

The summer schedule will start from March 29. The flight from Kochi to Muscat will leave at 8:55pm, while the Muscat to Kochi flight will depart at 11:55pm.
“This is will be a great relief for those travelling to Kerala especially during the peak time when ticket prices go-up,” said Arun Aravind, Retail Sales Manager at Fahad Express.
In March last year, IndiGo suspended its operations on the Muscat-Kochi sector. Currently only national career Oman Air and Air India Express are operations daily flights to Kochi-Muscat route.
