Muscat: SalamAir’s Muscat to Kathmandu flight had to be diverted to a nearest Indian airport due to bad weather in Nepal.
SalamAir flight OC427 made a temporary halt in Patna, the capital of Bihar due to low visibility, but departed to Nepal after the weather conditions improved.
“We can confirm that the flight has been safely landed in Kathmandu after briefly halting in Patna due to bad weather conditions,” a source at the airline said.Currently, SalamAir operates four weekly flights to Nepal.
