MUSCAT: Oman’s first industrial park — Madinat Sandan will be opened on January 22, 2020.
The first of its kind integrated project managed by the private sector is located in Halban.
The commercial activities are already in place and have begun to increase significantly with recent operation of various auto showrooms. The opening of other activities including construction related showrooms, bank, food outlets, residence, and many more will follow in the coming months.

In addition to this, an agreement was signed by the Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company to establish a petrol station in Sandan.
