MUSCAT: Air depression, Thujaj, has affected most of the wilayats and governorates in Oman on Sunday with heavy to moderate rains, hails, thunderstorms, high waves and strong winds.
According to the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA), its rescue teams managed to save six people who were trapped inside their vehicle in Al Khubayb wadi in Dhank.
“Currently, we are dealing with a number of rescue operations,” PACDA added.

Strong winds and high sea waves have caused valleys to flow and have cut roads in many parts of Oman leading to stalled traffic.
