Muscat: The Duke of Cambridge — Prince William arrived in Oman on Tuesday after concluding his visit to Kuwait.
This marks the first time that the Duke of Cambridge has visited both countries, and he follows in the footsteps of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and his father, Prince Charles.
Prince William landed in Khasab in Musandam governorate where he was given a red-carpet welcome. Earlier in a statement issued online, UK Embassy in Oman said: “HRH The Duke of Cambridge arrives in Oman tomorrow for #RoyalVisitOman! We are looking forward to welcoming him to this beautiful and friendly country, and showing him Omani culture and hospitality.”
