Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have urged drivers to reduce speed and follow safe driving practices as heavy rainfalls weeped over the Sultanate on Thursday.
The statement from ROP comes after heavy rain fell across the Sultanate, which is likely to continue till Friday.
The police also urged drivers to commit to preventive procedures, such as stopping their vehicles in low visibility, while highlighting the importance of leaving an appropriate gap between vehicles to avoid accidents.

Police also urged motorists to be cautious when driving in rainy conditions and abide by the safety instructions and regulation to avoid any accidents.
