Oman make history by qualifying for Twenty20 World Cup

Oman beat Hong Kong in the second play-off match on Wednesday to book their place in the ICC T20 World Cup.

DUBAI: Oman beat Hong Kong by 12 runs to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup in thrilling fashion.

History was made at a qualifying tournament after they beat Hong Kong in the second play-off in UAE on Wednesday night. Bilal Khan was the star for Oman taking four crucial wickets.

That result meant Oman has now booked their place at October’s tournament in Australia.
