Kerala Pravasi Welfare Fund joins hands with Global Money in Oman

The Welfare fund is a unique initiative of the Government of Kerala focusing on lower and middle-income group for their welfare and rehabilitation.

MUSCAT: Global Money Exchange, one of the leading Exchange Houses in Oman, Managed by State Bank of India, has joined hands with Kerala Pravasi Welfare Board,(KNRKWB) Thiruvanthapuram. 

Under this arrangement, all Branches of Global Money Exchange will accept new Registrations and payment of periodical subscription from Non-Resident Keralities (NRK).  The Welfare fund is a unique initiative of the Government of Kerala focusing on lower and middle-income group for their welfare and rehabilitation.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by the Kerala Pravasi Welfare Fund and Global Money Exchange recently at Thiruvananthapuram.  Mr. P.T. Kunhi Mohammed, Chairman. and Sri. M. Radhakrishnan CEO of KNRKWB and Sri. R. Madhusoodanan, General Manager, Global Money Exchange and other  Officials of Pravasi Fund and Global Money Exchange were present in the Function.

The facility was launched at a function held recently at Indian Social Club. Officials of Indian Social Club (Kerala Wing) and Global Money Exchange were present besides a large number of Keralites.

P.M. Jabir, Director, Kerala Pravasi Welfare Board and Mr. K.S. Subromonian, MD Global Money Exchange jointly stated that the initiative will help a huge number of Keratitis living in Sultanate of Oman.  “This is a value added service to the people of Kerala in Oman,” they said. 

The facility is available at all the 52 branches of Global Money Exchange in Oman.   The contribution payments to the FUND is made absolutely FREE to the regular customers of Global Money Exchange.
