Muscat: Five people died in a road accident in Suwaiq on Sunday.
The accident took place when a truck collided with a taxi car near the Suwaiq roundabout.
The victims included two Omanis, two Bangladeshi nationals and a Filipino who died on the spot, according to sources. Meanwhile, another expat was seriously injured in the accident.

Earlier in a statement issued online, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the investigation is underway . “Five people have died in a road accident in the wilayat of Suwaiq and investigation is underway,” the statement said.
