Muscat: In compliance with the orders of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Oman has accepted an injured Iranian ship crew member evacuated from a vessel near the Yemeni port of Hodeidah for more treatment.
The Iranian national was sent to Oman at the request of both the governments of Saudi Arabia and Tehran’s, a source in the foreign ministry was quoted as saying by state-run Oman News Agency (ONA) on Sunday.
According to ONA, the injured crew member will be given additional medical care in Oman.
