Muscat: As part of India’s 73rd Independence Day, Indian Embassy in Muscat and Oman Hockey Association is all set to host a hockey festival on August 17.
The hockey festival will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
Indian Ambassador to Oman, Munu Mahawar, will be the chief guest and Dr Hammad Hamed Al Ghafri will be the guest of honour.

Several distinguished personalities from sports including Shiekh Soud Al Rwahi, Dr Wahid Al Kharusi, Mr and Mrs Chitra Narayan, Kiran Asher, Aftab Patel will be present at the event.
Other personalities like the Chief Editor of the Times Group, Ram Parkash Verma; Chief Heart Surgeon of the LPSC Institute Of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Rakesh Kumar Verma; and award-winning Social Worker, Devender Pratap Singh, along with Indian Embassy officials will attend the event.
The event is being organised by Team Coorg and Friends of Naqvi Group supported by UTSC Kerala.
