Dubai: Five new categories of expatriates will be granted long-term residency visas in the country for a stay of up to 10 years, which will be renewable as well, a top official of the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has announced on Wednesday morning in the capital.
These five categories for long-term residency visas include investors for 10 years visa, investors in real estate for five years, entrepreneurs for five years, talented professionals like doctors, researchers and innovators for 10 years.
Whereas the fifth category permits residency visas to outstanding students for five years, which will be renewable.

All categories’ visas can be renewed upon expiry and they will also be permitted to sponsor their families and children.
