MUSCAT: Quick intervention by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) averted a major tragedy on Wednesday evening when a fuel tanker sparked a fire on the Muscat Expressway.
The firefighting teams have been successful in totally controlling the fire without recording any injuries, CDAA said on Twitter.
The incident happened in Baushar in Muscat Governorate causing heavy traffic congestion on Muscat Expressway.
