Muscat: The Indian Social Club’ Malayalam Wing will host Onam celebrations in Muscaf from 19 – 21 September.
The three-day celebration will be held at the Grand Hall of Al Falaj Hotel in Ruwi.
The event will be inaugurated by the Indian Ambassador to Oman, Munu Mahawar, on 19 September at 7.30 pm.
Popular director turned actor Lal will attend the function.

On the first day of the event, renowned Indian violinist Sabareesh Prabhaker —who has performed at over 5000 concerts — and his team will enthral the audience with a performance.
In addition to this, a variety of cultural programs traditionally associated with Onam will be performed. On the second day the winners of the 2019 Onam competitions will be awarded.
On the concluding day of the event, the traditional ‘Ona Sadhya’ (Onam Feast) will be served to around 4000 event attendees.
