Toronto: Nivin Pauly’s much-awaited Moothon got off to a rousing welcome when it was screened at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Wednesday night.

Written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film revolves around a boy as he sets out to reunite with his elder brother.

Soon after watching Moothon, film critic Dilani Rabindran took to Twitter to praise the South Indian superstar’s stellar performance. “What a better way to celebrate Onam than to watch Nivin Pauly give absolute stellar and IMO career defining performance in Moothon.”
