MUSCAT : Vanderlande beat Manis CT by 15 runs in its last match of the Oman Cricket Domestic League Season 2022-23 powered by Al Ansari Group of Companies LLC registering 6 victories out of 7 games and confirming their berth at the top of the table and their position in the A Division next season.

Put to bat by Manis CT, Vanderlande got off to a shaky start losing 2 wickets in the powerplay. Vinayagam Barathwaj (27 of 24; 4×4) , Aravindh Ramesh (38 of 22; 7×4) and Aiyappan B (38 of 26; 5×4) were the run-getters in the middle order for Vanderlande to help them get to 176/10 in 25.1 overs. Aneek Chakraborty (4/23) , Rana Zeeshan (2/34) and Adnan Ul Haq (2/39) were the key wicket takers. In response, Manis CT started off well in quest to chase down the target but only Adnan Ul Haq (71 of 68; 7×4) could stand-by the bowling of Vanderlande although falling short by scoring only 161/10 in 29.3 overs. Ajazmiya Shaikh (5/20) and Vinayagam B (2/16) were the key wicket-takers for Vanderlande ensuring victory to them.
