MUSCAT : The five-day Forum aims to highlight the role of Omani youth in voluntary work and in promoting Omani heritage, as well as supporting productive families in the wilayat. It will feature a variety of children’s programs and general cultural competitions.

Owing to the tourism potential of Al Ashkharah, the Forum will help stimulate winter tourism by presenting a host of programs and various social, artistic and recreational activities, including exhibitions for productive families and craftsmen, a heritage village, a field for riding horses and camels, as well as an open exhibition of photographs.

The forum is organized by the Al Ashkhara Volunteer Team in cooperation with the Municipality of Jalan Bani Bu Ali and the Omani Women’s Association of the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali.
