The Last of Us- HBO MAX
Based on the iconic PlayStation-exclusive games, The Last of Us is one of the most anticipated shows this year. The action drama series is set in a post-apocalyptic America, caused by a deadly virus named Cordyceps, where only a couple of humans have managed to survive. One of the survivors is a 14-year-old girl named Ellie Williams (Bella Ramsey), who happens to be humanity’s last hope as she is immune to the deadly Cordyceps and can help in creating a vaccine. The other is a hardened middle-aged survivor Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal), who thinks of Ellie as just cargo that he needs to deliver safely. However, circumstances force them to endure harsh situations and escape the cruel killers chasing them.

Vengeance- Amazon Prime Video
The comedy mystery thriller film available on Amazon Prime Video is the directorial debut of “The Office” star B.J. Novak. Starring Ashton Kutcher and John Mayer, aside from Novak himself and many others, Vengeance evolves around New York journalist Ben Manalowitz, who flies to Texas to attend the funeral of a girl named Abby Shaw, who everyone thinks to be Ben’s girlfriend. Later, Abby’s brother Ty tries to convince him to avenge his sister’s death as he feels she was murdered. Ben sees this as an opportunity to work on a story about grief and denial, and hence, starts investigating Abby’s murder case.
