Municipality implements service projects worth more than OMR 2 million

The Municipal Department of Barka is implementing a number of service projects at a construction cost of more than OMR 2.5 million.

MUSCAT– The Municipal Department of Wilayat Barka in the southern Batinah Governorate is implementing a number of service projects to contribute to the development of the state’s investment, commercial and tourism movement, at a construction cost of more than OMR 2.5 million.

Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Al-Maamari, director of the Municipal Department in Wilayat Barka, in the southern Batinah Governorate, said that this includes internal road projects that are being implemented in different places in the villages of the state with a length of 45 km, in addition to other internal roads that are being implemented within a distance of 15 km, in the areas affected by Hurricane Shaheen located on the coast.
