MUSCAT: FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that the Qatar World Cup 2022 saw a higher audience turnout than the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. According to Infantino, 3.27 million fans attended the matches in the 2022 World Cup so far, as compared to the 3.03 million turnout during the 2018 Russia World Cup.
