The Qatar World Cup was certainly an eventful one, like all others, both on and off the field. Qatar certainly made the news for its well-coordinated attempts to make fans feel welcome and get accommodated. With the biggest football festival so close to home, Oman geared up to celebrate the fan fever as well with the Football Fans Festival, allowing fans to enjoy the games on the big screen, along with a wide range of fun activities. 

The Qatar World Cup 2022 began with a series of rather surprising wins and losses, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. While the run ended rather sadly for a few icons of the game, the ones who went forward have been lauded by fans for their performance. Following Portugal, Brazil, and many others, the latest in this category is Morocco, who even in their defeat, won the hearts of fans worldwide. And now, the biggest event is nearing its end with a bang, as this Sunday will witness who gets to take home the coveted apex trophy of the sport. With Argentina and France facing off at the Qatar World Cup 2022 finals, spirits are high for the supporters of both teams. While both are two-time World Cup-winning teams, a significant amount of attention will be on Argentina’s star player Lionel Messi, as this venture is perhaps his last chance to win the FIFA World Cup.
