DOHA: The Ministry of Interior has announced that football fans without tickets will be granted entry into Qatar from tomorrow, December 2, granted they meet the necessary requirements.

Non-ticketed fans can enter Qatar provided that they have a Hayya Card, a booked hotel reservation, and pay an entry fee of QR 500, which applies to everyone above the age of 12. Children under 12 will not be charged an entry fee. Fans can apply for a Hayya card on the official Hayya Platform.

This arrangement was previously announced in a press conference on November 3, stating that this would enable fans across the globe to experience the World Cup during the knockout stage, from December 3.
