MUSCAT: The number of certificates issued this year showed an increase of 21.67 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, which witnessed 35,111

Engineer Mohammed bin Saeed Al Mahrouqi, Director of the Industrial Operations Department at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said, “The rise in originator certificates came as a result of submitting them electronically through the ‘Invest Easy’ electronic portal, which contributed to facilitating services for investors, factories and Omani companies to export their products.”

He pointed out that the certificates of origin are represented in agricultural, animal and industrial certificates and natural resources. He called on the owners of national establishments – Omani entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium enterprises, investors, craftsmen and productive families – to benefit from economic agreements and free trade agreements concluded between the Sultanate of Oman and various countries in the fields of export and import to obtain preferential transactions.
