MUSCAT: Nabila Al Macki, the Chairperson of the Oman Association for Quality in Higher Education (OAQHE), will be a part of the distinguished panel at the TAS Conclave; she will speak on the ‘Future of Education’ in Oman and the region.

The TAS Conclave, to be hosted by The Arabian Stories, on November 30, 2022, will present an engaging forum, with experts from various social and economic sectors of the country gracing the discussion panel.

The Conclave, in its second edition, is a landmark platform for strategists, policy makers and influencers, who are accountable for Oman’s future, to converge and celebrate the nation’s achievements. The panelists will take stock and unearth the direction the nation will take on government, politics, economy, health, diplomacy, infrastructure, technology, innovation, education and several other elements of growth that define our future.

Nabila, who is also the Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs) at Majan University College, has nearly 20 years of experience working in higher education and quality assurance domain. She brings to the panel her long service as an external reviewer for the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA).

Nabila also has extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She is a certified Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK (SFHEA), and a member of various professional bodies and committees.

Nabila made great contributions to elevating the level of education in Oman by utilising her experience as a quality assurance leader, and as an external reviewer for various higher education institutions.

In line with Oman’s vision 2040 and its objectives to enhance the quality of education in the higher education sector, Nabila aims to – through the association – raise awareness on the importance of quality assurance culture in the higher education sector and the community at large.
