MUSCAT: Abdullah Al Naqbi and Theyab Al-Mansoori both of the United Arab Emirates emerged winners of the first round of the Oman Freestyle Championship organized by the Oman Automobile Association at the Muscat Arena Circuit, Seeb held on Friday before a jam-packed holiday crowd.
In the saloon car category, Emirati racer Abdullah won the first place followed by compatriot Khalifa Ibrahim and Mazen Al Kharousi.
In the four-wheel drive category, Theyab Al-Mansoori came in first, while Salem Al-Saadi came in second, and Yarub Al-Hinai came in third.

The second round will be held two weeks later at the same venue on November 11.
Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth distributed the prizes.
