MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham held talks in Manama with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain on Monday.
Following the meeting, both Oman and Bahrain signed cooperation agreements, memoranda of understanding and executive programs at Sakhir Palace in Manama.
The agreements covered the fields of security, maritime transport, ports, studies and research, the establishment of an Omani-Bahraini investment company and granting the Sultanate of Oman the right of sovereignty over the information of its subscribers in the existing cloud computing centers in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition to granting the Sultanate of Oman the status of an approved partner in the International Center for Sea and Air Freight Services.
The memoranda of understanding and executive programs covered the areas of information technology, municipal work, higher education, scientific research, innovation, competition protection, anti-monopoly, space sciences and technologies, aeronautics, and social development.
The two sides also signed executive programs between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the agricultural, animal, fish, scientific, educational and environmental protection fields.
