MUSCAT : At a press conference today on ‘The Future of Green Energy’, the Ministry of Energy and Minerals presented the five main objectives of Oman to move forward in the green hydrogen sector: diversify the local economy, expand supply chains and associated industries and create attractive local job opportunities; contribute to the security of energy supplies locally and globally; reduce carbon emissions locally and globally; create a completive green hydrogen sector at a competitive cost and make environment attractive for foreign direct investment; and support innovation and develop local capabilities in the country.
