Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation to the meeting was headed by H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs, and included the participation of several senior officials from the Ministry.
The Ministry of Health tweeted that the meeting addressed the implementation of the 42nd session of Supreme Council’s decisions in Riyadh in December 2021 in completing the requirements of global competitiveness, as well as the non-tariff restrictions that concern the GCC ministries of health and the decisions related to expatriates’ medical tests in AL Sukhair, December 2016.
The health ministers discussed the action plan of the GCC Health Ministers Committee (2022 – 2026), which includes joint programs and projects aiming to enhance health cooperation between the GCC countries.
