MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, inaugurated the Sultanate’s first and exclusive Women’s Club for Sports and Cultural Creativity and also unveiled the logo at Mahan Hall of Al Bustan Palace here on Wednesday.


Oman News Agency tweeted: “His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, confirms that Omani women has proven to be essential partner in march of giving and prosperity of the Sultanate. And the inauguration of the Women’s Club for Sports and Cultural Creativity is a clear indication of the generous care that Omani women enjoy from his Majesty the Sultan,” he said on the occasion of Omani Women’s Day and the launch of the club’s identity and logo.
A two-day seminar ‘The Women’s Seminar for Sports and Cultural Creativity’ has been organized on the occasion.

The seminar is expected to showcase the club and would shed light on its goals like boosting the participation of Omani women in the cultural and sports fields in partnership with the existing establishments. The club aims to provide women with the opportunity to participate in various cultural and sports activities apart from organizing competitions, championships and events.
