MUSCAT: Launched by the couple-preneur Namrata and Inder, who own and manage Hakkai in Oman, the tagline – nothing fancy, just good Chinese food – is an extension of their key objective to serve good food to customers who have a penchant for Indo-Chinese cuisine.
“As our tag line states, our main emphasis is to provide customers a completely delicious, lip-smacking and yet contented food,” say the couple-preneurs, pointing out that the vision of the restaurant is to provide its customers comfort food that is totally delicious and irresistible.
Hakkai will be open for dine in at the Markaz Al Bahja mall food court, its first outlet in the country, and will also be available for take-away and delivery through Talabat and TM done. It will be serving its customer Indo Chinese food, along with a variety of Thai dishes.

According to the owners, most local and expat customers look for comfort and delicious food, not only on weekends but also on week-days, and Chinese food is dominating the chart: therefore Hakkai is here to reassure its customers to fulfill the same at pocket friendly prices, they state.
‘Make your own Wok’ is Hakkai’s USP, which allows customers to make their rice and noodles as per their personal taste, with sauces, spice levels and protein levels of their choice. The wok box is easy to carry and eat anywhere and everywhere – in the office, on-the-go, beach picnics, parties, everywhere. Along with that, other must-try items on their menu are the Thai curry bowl, pan fried momos, steam dumplings and golden fried prawns.
