MUSCAT : Speaking at an event organised to felicitate the newly licensed technicians, H.E. Sayyid Salim bin Musallam Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Human Resources Development, explained that the graduates underwent an intensive program that included an introduction to the English language, mathematics and information technology and a theoretical and practical study on optical cables and the methodology, along with practical application in the field on fiber optic cabling.

It is important to note that the program aimed to enhance and build the capabilities of the trainees and enable them to carry out the operations of linking fiber optic networks with high specifications and approved standards, locally and internationally. The graduates joined the labor market through the company’s contractors, either through direct employment or self-employment.
