MUSCAT : Under the memorandum, PDO will finance the construction of a new health center in the Wilayat of Thumrait, purchase new medical equipment for the Royal Hospital and Al Hallaniyat Health Center, and establish computer laboratories for schools in the wilayats of Haima and Al Jazir, which will benefit more than 558 students. It also includes the purchase of a new bus for the Al-Noor Association for the Blind and the financing of the Innovation Club at the Child Care Center of the Ministry of Social Development.
The company will sponsor this year’s edition of the ‘Himam Mountain Running’ race, which is expected to attract more than 500 participants from 40 countries; renewal of the camel race track in the Wilayat of Bahla, and the construction of a 1.6 km health walkway in Hamra Al-Duru’ in the Wilayat of Ibri is also on the agenda.
The memorandums were signed by a number of concerned authorities and officials of the Petroleum Development Oman, under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Badr bin Salim Al Maamari, Secretary-General of the Tender Board.
