MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman’s National Subsidy system has announced that, starting from November 2022, it is mandatory to verify vehicle registration before filling fuel using the National Fuel Subsidy Card at gas stations.
In a tweet, National Subsidy stated: “Starting from November 2022, it is mandatory to verify the vehicle’s registration before filling with fuel using the National Fuel Subsidy Card at gas stations”.
The use of the National Fuel Subsidy Card is restricted to those vehicles registered in the National Subsidy System only. The National Subsidy System announced that the vehicle registration will be verified before filling the fuel using the National Fuel Subsidy Card at all gas stations in the Sultanate. The National Subsidy System will begin from mid-October and it will be followed strictly beginning November 2022.
