MUSCAT: The Center explained that the contaminated water has a weight of 200 ml/ 30 cups and exceeds the maximum permissible limits of bromate. In the interest of consumer health and safety, the Center confirmed that it is currently working to ensure that local markets are free of affected products, if any, in coordination with the concerned authorities.
It is also recommended to all consumers to avoid consuming the specified product as per the indicated dates and to dispose of the quantities available to them.
