MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday received V. Muralidharan, the Indian junior minister for foreign affairs who is on a two-day visit to the Sultanate.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries, stressing the development of bilateral relations in various fields, especially the economic, commercial and scientific fields.
The two sides discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

Al Busaidi congratulated India who will assume the Presidency of the G20 for one year from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023. India has extended a special invitation to the Sultanate to participate in the G-20 Summit and meetings as a guest country this year.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid bin Hashel Al Maslihi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Amit Narang, India’s Ambassador to the Sultanate and a number of officials from both sides.
