DUBAI: Prominent Indian businessman MM Ramachandran (fondly called as
Atlas Ramachandran) died in Dubai on Sunday night. He was 80.
According to his family sources, Ramachandran was admitted in a private hospital three days ago following low blood pressure and passed away after a cardiac arrest.

Hailing from Indian state of Kerala, Ramachandran established an empire of gold business under his jewellery group named Atlas in 1981.
