MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik sent a cable of congratulations to President Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic.

Through it, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations and wishes of good health and happiness to the President, and to the friendly Chinese people for further progress and advancement, and to the strong historical relations between the two countries that are steadily developing and growing.

His Majesty also sent congratulatory messages to President Muhammad Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the occasion of his country’s National Day and President Nicos Anastasiades of the Republic of Cyprus on the occasion of his country’s independence anniversary.
