MUSCAT: At least 165 ships loaded with 3.7 million tons of food grains have left Ukrainian ports for past 24 hours in a deal brokered by the United Nations, according to ONA on Monday.
The Ukrainian infrastructure ministry said 10 ships with 169,300 tonnes of agricultural products left their ports on Sunday and added that three ports were able to load and send abroad 100-150 cargo ships.
Grain exports stopped after Russia-Ukraine conflict on February 24 and blockaded its ports, driving up food prices across the globe and prompting fears of shortages in Africa and the Middle East, according to international news agencies.

The ports were reopened under a deal signed on July 22 between Russia and Ukraine.
