MUSCAT: The horse Safwa, owned by the Royal Cavalry, won second place in the seventh round competitions at the French Bordeaux racecourse, which was dedicated to pure-bred Arabian horses for a distance of 1400 metres.
The four-year-old is trained by Elizabeth Bernard and led by Gary Sanchez ( jokey). This her second podium this season followed by her triumph in Dax racecourse also in France in June.
