MUSCAT: The Ministry of Interior said it will announce the preliminary lists of 760 candidates contesting for the municipal council elections for the third term on Sunday, September 18, via www.elections.om.
In a statement issues, the ministry said that anyone who have objections to the names mentioned in the preliminary lists can submit a request via the election website within five days from the date of announcing names. “The reasons for the objection must be mentioned, and they must also attach the supporting documents,” the Ministry added.
