MUSCAT: It was an evening to cherish for the scores of astromancers and stargazers who flocked to Al Sahwa Public Garden on Monday evening.
Invited by the Oman Astronomical Society to observe the moon, the sky and planets, both the citizens and residents marked their attendance in large numbers.

“The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, represented by the Department of Astronomical Affairs, participated in the astronomical observation event that was held at the Al Sahwa Garden in the wilayat of Seeb. The event witnessed a large presence of citizens and residents,” Astronomical Affairs Department said in an official release.
