MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Saturday offered his congratulations to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom on his accession to the throne.
Prince Charles was officially named the king in a ceremony on Saturday morning.
Queen Elizabeth II, the UK’s longest-serving monarch, died on Thursday at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
