MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology appreciated the issuance of Royal Decree No. (58/2022) by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik for granting a first-class license to the Oman Towers Company to establish and operate the inactive infrastructure for telecommunication towers.
The ministry stated: “This license is considered possible for the policy of sharing the infrastructure of telecom towers between mobile telecommunication service providers, which in turn will increase the frequency of telecom services penetration in the Sultanate of Oman and raise their quality.”
