MUSCAT: English premier league champions Chelsea FC has Thomas Tuchel has been sacked as Chelsea manager following a poor start to the season, according to ONA on Wednesday.
The immediate trigger that forced the club management to axe the coach came soon after Chelsea who began their Champions League campaign with a shock 1-0 defeat at Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
The German succeeded Frank Lampard in January, 2021 and helped Chelsea win their second Champions League crown in May, 2021.
