MUSCAT: Oman’s Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) reports a citizen drowned in Ain Jarzeez, Salalah.
In a statement CDAA stated on Wednesday: “Rescue teams at the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Dhofar responded to a report of a citizen drowning in Ain Jarzeez in the Wilayat of Salalah, where the teams were able to recover his dead body.”
Ain Jarzeez is an important water source of water feeding farms with several wells. It attracts variety of birds and a favourite spot for local travellers as well as tourists.
